I know this isn't too terribly exciting, but I just learned to crochet and I'm happy.  I ran into a few problems, mainly running out of yarn, so I just finished off a rectangle.  I wear it folded over and use a pin to keep it around my neck.

very nice.  i think a triangle is better for warming the neck, cuz it looks like it would fit better under the collar of your coat better

I love that neckwarmer.  The pin is a nice touch, and the whole thing looks very elegant.  I recently made a cravat-style scarf and have been meaning to make a neckwarmer of some kind.  Congrats on learning to crochet!

Wow, I love this--the pin makes it very finished-looking.  Don't tell anyone you ran out of yarn--they'll never know!   Wink

Your neckwarmer looks so pretty. Kind of dressy compared to the one I recently made. I am going to check my stash right now for the yarn I need to make one. Thanks for posting.
