Hey.. This is my first time posting an actual project. I got a digital camera for Christmas, and am putting it to use.

It's hard to tell exactly ... but it looks like you did an awesome job matching the colored beads to the colors in the owl! Very cute!

That's a great necklace - I love the owl!

(Here's a great tutorial on building a simple lightbox to take good close-ups of jewelry with if you're interested!)

Yeah, the colors are Red, blue and brown for the owl. I used small brown beads (sorted 'ugly' beads), small amethyst separaters, and a brown, red and blue accent gems up the sides that match. Cheesy

that's really cute!! I saw an owl almost exactly like that (or it might have been exactly?) at Dollar Tree the other day!  I wanted to buy it and make something with it but I had no idea what I'd do.  Thanks for sharing your idea, love it!
