okay, so it wasn't a success at first. i've come along way, with the help of my friend's mom and my boyfriend's mom. i had a lot of trouble with my bodice. we had to take it apart and re-do it. i used see&sew pattern b4704, because it was a cheap pattern Smiley haha.

no belt?

or belt? i don't like the texture of the "pleather". so i was thinking of making one some how. any clue where i can start with that? i want to make sure it doesn't fall down of course while i'm dancing, since the dress is for my semi. thanks for looking!

i decided to post a close-up picture of the clutch even though i posted it in another forum.  hope that's alright?

yes, we did indeed match  Cheesy

You've converted me.  I am now in love with plaid!  This is too cute, and you did a fabulous job.  Plus, that belt looks STUPENDOUS with it!

Without me, it's just aweso.

Iv always loved plaid and your dress makes me love it even more ... I kninda like it better without the belt ... but  you do wear one maby try a red one .. or if it was me id make a belt out of a different plaid fabric and wear it .. but I like things to clash like that ... but either way awesome dress and I love how its kinda rounded at the hem .

In my opinion, the belt is a must.  It makes the outfit look complete and very cute.

Great job on the dress. The belt completely makes the outfit, it makes the dress look more "dressy" and flirty.

i've never liked plaid before - but I love this. The belt works - it matches the bow on the clutch!
