Beautiful!
What brand of paint markers do you use? I can't get mine to blend for color gradients.

What brand of paint markers do you use? I can't get mine to blend for color gradients.

i used Y & C FabricMate for the grey and black. it's much more like an actual marker than the push-til-paint-comes-out type that i used for the white, which makes it more quickly and efficiently blendable.

in terms of shading, i would suggest either using a blending instrument (i like to use my fingers) right away when fading one color out on a dried background, or to blend two colors together, i do hashing into each other (do you know what i mean?- i can try to explain if you don't) and then using the lighter marker to work them together using small circular strokes. you just have to be careful to wipe the marker off (thus the dirty hand picture) right after you blend.

good luck!

Those are amazing - seriously, hang those in a museum!  I am so jealous, I can't paint or draw for anything.
