Yeah, I finally finished a project...which should please my husband who has "forbidden" me from buying anymore yarn until I get some of this stuff done.  Grin

It reminds me of my mother who forbade me starting any new projects...

It's a very beautiful scarf! Blue and white is my favourite colour combination. I'd like to see the photos of it on you!

Great job - they all look pretty!

I haven't even decided what to make for this blue month.  I'm now off work for a few weeks so I should have time  Grin

I was really hoping to get at least one thing done for each color of the month but I fell off the color crafting wagon 2 months ago ... just never came up with an orange craft and then well ... i could seem to get back on. I actually did make a brown craft but didn't post it so here it is (Hope the craft-a-long police don't mind  Grin) along with my nearly completed blue craft and my resolve to get back in gear

A padfolio - with embroidered button and embellishment

Years ago, I bought a pair of really neat deco chairs ...one red and one blue, they had their original upholstery ... wool mohair velvet and were in decent shape, but the years took their toll as is obvious here

so... I enrolled in an upholstery class and have a new appreciation for the skill ... Months later I am nearlly finished.  I couldn't afford to recreate the original so I decide to take some liberties.
Here are the after pictures:

It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.

Yikes, I almost forgot to post my picture.  I didn't actually get my blue project finished so I'll just give you a sneek peek and then, when it's finished, I'll post it in the quilt gallery.

Over the last few years I've started giving every couple in our church, who is having their first baby, a quilt and I just learned yesterday that there are 6 couples expecting now and 4 of them are first timers so, eventually this quilt will end up with one of them and I realized I better get into action if I want to complete 3 more.  I usually don't make them so gender specific but I had so much bug material, I just had to use it!

So now I see studying on two departments on university and finnishing coloured crafts doesn't go together... so I'll just make what I want to make without making it specific colour from now on. Tongue I really like the frogs fabric, Homerof2!
