Btw, Marmota, issue with buttons? Is it a phobia thing?  Undecided

I don't think it's a real phobia, but something close to it. Undecided I can hardly stand regular buttons with holes, it's a feeling like I'm itching... I have no idea where that issue comes from, I've had it ever since I can remember. It's quite a strange thing, huh? But when I need it, I can get over it. Wink The only problem with this was when I was really small and refused to wear anything with buttons...

However, I really like all irregular, beatiful ones, like the one you used in the middle; once it doesn't have clearly visible holes, it's OK for me. Cheesy And I really like going through my mother's collection of interesting irregular (and often single) buttons and trying to make up a rightful use for them. Smiley So button jewellery might be a good choice...

I love the colour brown, especially chocolate brown. So here's my bunny zippered clutch.

cute spider sweater, pickled_peppers!

I love the button flower as well and that would make a great next project for me to make something to match my new brown skirt I just made yesterday (pictures will come soon). I wore my skirt today and had no brown jewelry to go with it! Time to fix that!

I'm finally posting a pic of the skirt I made about 2 weeks ago. "Life stuff" and working 4 days per week keep getting in the way of my crafting time!  Sad

Not the best pic really but it does show it. Its a lovely crushed dobb material with a shiny floral/stripe tone on tone pattern on it. This is my new favourite skirt! (until I make a next one!  Wink)

And a necklace to go with my new skirt!

This is funny for me to love wearing brown now b/c I used to strongly dislike it! Funny how tastes change over time!

Both your projects are lovely! Smiley

I can't find the fabric I wanted to sew my trousers from. Angry So I probably won't finish them in time... so I started making a brown belt in the meantime, that will hopefully be finished sooner.

I wonder if it's the color or the time of year that has slowed this craft-a-long down?

I can't think of anything brown to make.

I have some ideas; I've just been way busy for the last few months. Hopefully now that I've reclaimed my craft table, I'll get a brown craft done in time.  Smiley
