This is awesome... if only I had more time for crafting now!

the 6 strand one took 10 minutes tops. Tongue The 12 stranded one (not shown) took me 15 inc cutting the wire.

I love how the 6 one turned out. The openness is really beautiful! I can't wait to see the 12 wire one. Yeah cutting the wire is the longest part. But its worth it once you get started Smiley Congrads on a beautiful piece!!!

I have struggled like crazy with what to do for this month's craft - it has really been a stretch for me (which is of course the point of doing this craftalong).

I decided to make an anklet and a bracelet with silver beads and purple beads with silver streaks. I purchased the supplies at Wal Mart, cost a whopping total of $3

Beautiful! I struggled too. Smiley I love the purple beads with silver (one of my favorite color combos).

Today was watching a very sick 5 year old all day. So i decided to make up a fun project for us to do. So we made jewlery while watching princess movies. Here is a set i made. Its my first time really bending wire and making links with it. I had fun making the spirals on the bracelet and the  earrings. I usually in the past used hemp or floss to make jewlery. So metal is still new to me. I am sure i will get more creative with time working in it. Here is what i did. It fits in with the metal theme for this month. The beads are all cool colored but are very much metal looking.

Please dont' mind the cat hair in the photos. They shed and i can't seem to get them to stop no matter how i beg them!

thanks for looking!
