I've the morning trying to make a fabricbowl. Unfurtunatly I didn't have any timtex or fast-2-fuse, so it's a little soft.

I really like that fabric bowl! Great work!  Smiley

Seeing as I have 3 days to get my Easter dress done I'm trying to spend every spare minute working on it. Not too many spare minutes with a climbing, tantrum throwing toddler to chase!

This is sort of a crossover project for March and April as it contains green and purple!

I started with the focal bead, the leaf shaped dichroic glass one which had such gorgeous shades of purple, green and gold/copper glittery bits in, added a string of fluorite chips which I have had for a while and just hadn't decided what to do with. It's a double string necklace and it looks wonderful on. The pictures don't really seem to show the true colours unfortunately  Undecided

Ooh Samsara, that's fab!  Kiss

I LOVE the rough beads in the centre, contrasted with the outside string, and the focal bead is lovely. That's really, really cool.

janeausten- I love that fern! I might have to make a bunch of these and string them together for a scarf. I'll put some sort of bauble in between (maybe I should learn how to make felted beads) to separate the fronds. Good thing I'll have all summer to work on all of the scarves I want to make!

Well I finished the Easter dress tonight!!! Yay! I still want to make a headband to go with it yet. I used the sleeveless view of the dress and added poofy sleeves but I think they make it look a bit old fashioned, but I'm still wearing it for Easter! I got the fabric for free and I paid $1 for the pattern a while back so this is my $1 Easter dress!!

Here is my attempt to make a purple bird. I am not sure if I like him or not.

gkswife, I think the dress would look great with a purple belt... it would add an accent. If you wore purple headband with it, that would look very good, I think.
I mean the belt to look like a ribbon, if you can understand me...

I got from one of her books. And it too a long time to make! So many steps......

I'm sorry, it doesn't help me... I'm Czech. But it doesn't matter, I'm afraid I wouldn't get to doing it anyway... I have too many other ideas. Grin
