I finally got my January project done!  Squee!   Here is Star Brite from the 80s cartoon Rainbow Brite!  Pic printed from online and tranferred to the canvas-like cloth via transfer pencil.  Then mostly stain stitched and back stitched by me!

Whole Image.  Hopefully the hoop lines dont show too much.  I was too excited to iron it.

Close-up of tail.

Close up of face.  Ignore those pink lines!

I'm so proud of this.  Its the first embroidery piece I have actually finished.  Usually craft ADD gets to me first!  I eventually plan on making it into a wall hanging to give to my 2 year old cousin.

I thought the same as sarahpanda, that you had colored it but then I saw what you had really done!  Great job StarFire!!

I also like the way you displayed it in your first photo - so creative!  I usually just set my items on the kitchen counter but maybe I'll have to try and be more creative.

I finished this a couple of weeks ago and posted this on a different topic, and someone suggested that I post in this topic. I think it belongs here also.

It's cross stitched and it took me about a year to do, but that's because it's so big and I lost interest a few times and just had to work on something else. But it was very easy and NO backstitching! YAY!

Wow.  Shocked I'm totally loving both of those embroidery projects. I adore cute cartoony things!
