2007 Color Craft-A-Long

Special thanks to Anotheer who started this craft-a-long in 2006!  This craft-a-long is just like this one http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=91746.0. It was so much fun and so many people wanted to do it again this year I decided to start it again.

What you do is make one, or maybe more things in the colour assigned to each month.  It doesn't matter what you make, it can be a bag, clothes, jewellery's or whatever you have in mind.

2007 Colours
January: All the colors of the rainbow
February: Red
March: Green
April: Purple
May: Metallic colors like silver, gold, copper, & Bronze
June: Pink
July: Yellow
August: Orange
September: Brown
October: Blue
November: Black
December: White

Rules:
You can join the fun at any time.

You don't have to use, for example, one kind of orange, you can choose every orange in the orange colour scale you want.

It's okay to mix the theme colour with some few others if you can't avoid it. But remember to keep the theme colour the dominating colour.

Deadline for posting the monthly picture are 7 days after the theme month.

Ooh! I'm in (I need more motivation to make things for myself, and not just for swaps and such!). No telling where I'll be come May, but from Jan-April I'm in for sure!

I really LOVED this craft-a-long because it forced me to use different colors and to think outside of my normal crafty goodness! I always use the same colors and with this I had to really think about how to use white for example!

Another note.....post items here starting with January 2007. If you participated in the 2006 color craft-a-long and you haven't posted your white item for December yet, post it in the other thread.

oh dear... another year of this!  no, no, I simply couldn't... well... no.  did you hear me?  I said no.  but I do have a whole room of stuff that needs to be used up.

Let me ask a few questions just so I understand things:

1)  Can we craft anything as long as it falls into the color scheme for the month (ie, crochet, quilt, knit, bead, etc.)?

2)  The picture posting has me confused - we can post January's pictures up to the 7th of February, is that correct?

Yes! Make anything you want as long as the dominant color is the color of the month.

Yes, That's correct. This was decided during the last version of this craft along. There needed to be a deadline but with a little flexability. For example, I can still post the white item I made for December that I forgot to take a picture of again last night! D'oh! But only until Sunday.....
