I made them, but then I couldn't give them as gifts because I couldn't figure out how to package them. Martha shows them prettily boxed up, but they stick to each other! Of course she doesn't even mention this.

Would dusting them with confectioner's sugar help with that problem? I'd like for the giftees to be able to pick on marshmallow out for some hot chocolate without getting their hands all gooey.

I have made these many time with my kids. I have also made them for my daughters brownie troop. My recipe calls for dusting the bottom of the pan with confections sugar and also the top of the marshmellow. It makes a huge difference. Try experimenting with colored sugar and flavored sugar. We also use mini cookie cutters to cut them out. They are alot of fun to make and always gets a great big WOW!

If you want extra non-stickiness, mix the sugar with flour or cornstarch. I put the pan in the freezer also before cutting out.
