I know it's not really summer anymore, but I made a tank top thing anyways.  I wasn't trying to, but thats what happened.  I was using this: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=4338.0  and planning on modifiying it to be a dress.  That didn't work, so I made basically that, but with an open back.  I really thought my fabric was more stretchy than it looked.  Undecided

Heres the front:

And the back:

And also, in that last one... my toes.

Wow, that's one of the cutest tops I've seen in awhile. And I LOVE that fabric.

I love the combo of overlaping eyelet trim and the ribbon straps!   Cheesy  I think I'll have to try that!  a girl can never have enough strapy tanks.   Wink

That's so cute! You could always insert an extra panel in the back if you didn't want it to be backless.

I, too, am a big fan of that tutorial, but I've still never made it! I have some cute polka dot fabric from the Wally remnant bin so maybe that will motivate me to finally make one. Wink

The fabric is from goodwill.  I think there was about 3 yards of it.  So there's still enough to make something else.
