That's adorable.  I'm working on that hat right now!  I just keep messing up on the earflaps.  Aaah.  I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, but they refuse to come out heart shaped.    Undecided

The earflaps are a little misleading. I never ended up with the number of stitches I was supposed to have, and it would always tell me to k1, pm when I didnt have a stitch to knit before passing the marker. If I ignored that and just held the marker in my hand while I k1, then put the marker back on the needle in its new spot and carried on as usual it came out okay. Did that make any sense?

Thank you!   Grin  I tried doing that, and it worked much better this time.  Yay!

Knitters beware: Everyone and their mom will ask you for one when they find out you knit it yourself.

that happens to me now. i have orders backed up that will keep me busy for months. but i think i'm going to have to knit that hat for myself

That's adorable! And it's more adorable on you.
I wonder what the barrista at my Starbucks would say..I asked her to put up some announcments for a gallery showing I was having...which she refered to from that day on as "Your little art thing."
I somehow doubt she would appreciate my little knitting thing any more than she was impressed by me being a painter who shows in a gallery.

Oh, Gosh.

That's so cute.

Is Knit.1 a book? magazine?

Excuse my stupidity.

Oh wow! Amazing job!

I have that issue and I love that! I tried knitting the hearts as well and mine came out all weird. I might try the actual hat later. Haha.

Love the pics - looks like you're having a great time!

I am patiently waiting for VK to come out so I can order both knit1 and VK at the same time...
