Pretty simple pattern, too sweet not to knit. I believe I went down 2 needle sizes, as I tend to knit hats too big 80% of the time.



Knitters beware: Everyone and their mom will ask you for one when they find out you knit it yourself. Even the barista at Starbucks when you wander in the next morning, hungover, and ask for a cup of coffee. My boyfriend said he wanted to pounce on me. Sideview of us dancing:

The earflaps are a little misleading. I never ended up with the number of stitches I was supposed to have, and it would always tell me to k1, pm when I didnt have a stitch to knit before passing the marker. If I ignored that and just held the marker in my hand while I k1, then put the marker back on the needle in its new spot and carried on as usual it came out okay. Did that make any sense?
