I haven't had time to spin anything since July, and this yarn had been sitting on my wheel half done until yesterday.  One of my resolutions was to make more time for spinning, so I started by finishing it off.

It's not technically perfect, but it's exactly what I want for the project I have in mind. Smiley

It's 75 grams of a merino/silk blend, and has a beautiful sheen and softness.

I'm planning one skein per week at least for this year. (resolutions are easy to break, so I'm making plans, dangit)

I like making stuff. Rumor has it, I'm an elf. Like a Santa Elf, not one of those elegant LOTR types.  Mostly because I compulsively craft and partially because I have green shoes.

Ooh, that's a good idea -- I think I'll aim for that too. Smiley

That's a beautiful color and i really like the look of your yarn!

And, frankly, resolutions that involve things i WANT to do are ones I WANT to make!

I resolve to spin every day.  I resolve to learn to spin thicker squishy yarn and to learn to spin more evenly.

Why aren't ALL my resolutions this fun?

if you can't be a good example then you'll just have to be a horrible warning.

I love how the deepness of the red is highlighted by the white! I'd love to see what you make out of it.  I never thought of adding spinning to my new years resolution list.  Im a beginner anyway so making better yarn is always going to be at the top of my list.

that is a luscious looking skein! I love how the fibers have blended together- neither one gets lost, but it doesn't end up looking plied. Lovely job!
