Double knitting knitalong!

my daughter said this was the ONLY thing she wanted for xmas - i've just finished the 2nd strap piece, and now starting on the 3rd - all that's left are the straps, graft them, do the i-cord bind off, and felt it - i'm pushing to have it done for xmas.

I am trying my hand at a skull pattern. I love the stars, but I really have to get some other neat things done for Christmas.

Hope everyone's Christmas knitting went well! I still have stuff to finish, two dk scarves being in there! Dang it!
I did get two done and off................ .. in my pile of scarves here

Oh oh, the black & pink one looks just like the one I was doing! I also love the dark & light pink one too. Heck, I just love pink in general!

unfortunately Im going to have to drop out.

I ended up frogging the whole thign and started making something else.
I didnt like the way it was turning out.
Maybe I will give it another try sometime soon with something else

Okay... So I am in the process of working on this argyle pattern DK scarf for my friend Andy (unless it turns out totally kick@$$ then I'm keeping it for myself) from the semi-new Stoller book with patterns just for guys.  I'm about halfway through the first block of pattern, but I was just wondering if anyone knew which way to wrap the yarn at the end of each row and how many times to do so?  Also, this is my first real project besides the first scarf that looks like crap that everyone does but shows no one... So wish me luck on completion.

Direction dosen't really matter, I make sure that I wrap at least twice. So I guess it depends on if you want to make a specific wrap a habit (ie. always over in the right hand direction) or if you care. Can't wait to see it, I love the look of that scarf!
What colours are you using?

I'm using this cream yarn and aqua too... The aqua is really more like a really flourescent blue than a greenish blue, but the label says aqua.  It looks really cool so far, but I'm only two blocks done... It's so slow going.
