I have been watching this thread for a while and I wanted to post a recently completed scarf.  I made it for a friend's birthday.  Do guys wear fringe?  I decided against fringe but the ends look like they need something more...

I'd ask or ask a friend who knows him well about the fringe.  If he's not a fringe guy, you might consider a crocheted edge/border.

I was surfing this KAL and was so inspired to try to double knit.

I never start easy..Ive never done intarsia before and am a basic knitter...actually I've never fully completed a project haha

Sugarpumpkin, that's a hilarious pattern!  It's looking good so far, and I really like the colours you chose.  Hopefully you'll get to the end of it before getting distracted by something else 

Dulcinea, yours looks great too!  I've always wanted to try that pattern, but haven't had someone to make it for yet.
