I got seven clovers done... I was aiming for 12... and I ran out of green yarn. Green yarn that I got at a thrift store, nonetheless, and am having a hard hard time finding a match for it.
It's making me super sad.....

but, I started another one, much like silver ilix, but I'm going to try to change mine up a bit. I have an hour and a half of knitting time today while my sister gets lasik eye surgery!

Aw, that sucks that you ran out of yarn...
I think I'm going to try and finish all the neon pink I have because it's not all that much, but I can imagine not being at the end yet and already being out of yarn! I would be able to get more though, I have a great yarn store near my house.
Oh, and about the mistakes I made... I accidentally added an extra row in those dots twice, so the shape is a bit different. And I used a wrong stitch a couple of times and found out way too late to fix it.

This looks amazing! I want to try it out now! XD I may be a while, though, finishing up a babyblanket, but I have some yarn picked out - it's just finding a pattern that I'll love!

BTW: Looooooved the FF mage pattern, whoever had that! That was amazing! And I think it went under appreciated! XD Esp since some have not played the wonders that are Final Fantasy 1 !! XD

So I started last night!!!! YAY I love this! it is amazingly satisfying!

I am using Bernat Satin in espresso and lagoon Cheesy

[Awesome image not added, to save on bandwidth Sad ]

I am so happy with how it is turning out so far.....
the tecnique did take a bit of getting used to and I think that my first stitches are not quite as smooth as I would have liked, but...... that's what learning is all about!

I love that scarf! Those colors are amazing together!! Too bad I hate knitting scarves, and doubleknitting a scarf would practically kill me!

Ooo, maybe I could knit mug/candle coasters!!

Thankies!  ^_^  It's coming along slowly.  Very.....slowly.....I think that the next time I doubleknit a scarf I'm going to use bigger needles, or cast on less stitches.  I made the mistake of showing the pics of my half-finished FF scarf to some friends, and now I have requests on my list for doubleknit Mario and Xenogears scarves, hehe.

Good call on the coaster idea!  Doubleknitting does seem particularly well-suited for that, and it would be fun satisfying little projects to knit up quickly.  I must try it sometime....whenever I get through my pile of knitting projects I have queued up >_>
