Kelly, that's an awesome design!  It looks really nice so far!

miezimau, I know what you mean about the distractions.  I once made the mistake of trying to knit mine while watching tv with subtitles, and ended up with a row full of mistakes.  I can only imagine how distracting having kids around would be (when I was a kid, my mom would always crochet afghans, and my siblings and I would interrupt her practically every two seconds "Mom, have you seen my hat?" "Mom, Josh is hogging the tv" etc).

I'm finding that this is going pretty slowly too, but it seems to go faster when I'm doing patterned bits because each row feels like a little victory.  It also probably doesn't help that I'm working on two other projects simultaneously, but I'm on a deadline for this one, so hopefully this will be a very productive knitting weekend!

Yeah I hear ya Arzu.
Even though this is the only knitting project right now, I am also working on a few other things (totebags out of old sweaters and some Stencilled t-shirts and Polymer clay projects).
Luckily I decided to just make 2 skulls and the rest just plain color so once I am done with that first skull it should go fairly easy and then I wouldn't mind the kids interrupting so much.

I live with my niece and nephew, most of the time I'm knitting while I babysit them, or am at least out in the living room watching some cartoons with them or watching my nephew play video games. (which is why i'm constantly knitting.)

They've learned to say, "Aunty, when you're done with the row you're knitting, will you get me some juice?"

ha! I've trained them well.  Grin

This is my second knitting project, I'm really excited!
I have some neon pink and black yarn that I'm double knitting with now. It took me ages to work out how to do this...

I still have to put the edges together, although I'm not sure how to do that.

Oh, this thread is getting more and more people  Cheesy
I just wanted to show how much further along I am with mine, I'm kind of upset about the fact that I keep making mistakes in those polka dots though. I can't focus. Can you tell?
