Well I'm hoping that people are still doing this because I want to join in.  I am working on a Mary Engelbreit pattern from a Christmas book that I have of hers.  It's called Believe and its a Santa coming out of a chimney.  I tried to take a picture of it from the book but it didn't turn out to well but I will post it anyways.

Well, this is my progress so far I am doing it for my mom so I am pushing to have it all done in time so she can put it up for Christmas.

My really blurry pic

Starfire: Your PT will look just fine on cream fabric! I did mine with the fabric from the kit.  I just went down and looked at it, the fabric isn't that much darker than cream.  It took me about 3 years to finish this one, but the last year I was laid off so I was able to put a lot of time into it.

Laren:I am amazed by your klosterstitch project.  I can't wait to see your progress!  I tried to get into historical medieval stitching back when I was in college, but couldn't find the help/direction I needed.

I really wish i could get motivated to work on something, anything at this point!!!  I think I've got the crafting blahs....and oodles of projects to work on.

Thanks!   To be quite honest, I am kind of scared of my PT kit.  LOL.  I really want to buy a nice scroll frame to work it on and since I am preparing to move an entire household I have put PT away for now.  I'll pull it out once I am settled into my new home and have a scroll frame.  In the meantime, (since I NEED something to work on!) I have this one:

Beautiful Bird, Dimensions Gold Collection.
Told you I have a thing for peacocks.   Anyway, this one will hopefully be finished by November.  It is much smaller than PT, about 5x7, but the detailing in it will be a good test for me.

I'll post progress pics in a couple weeks.

Hopefully I can still join in. I have a piece I've been working on, I'm almost halfway through but got sidetacked having a baby ;-) I'm hoping to eventually finish it...this group may be just the inspiration I need :-)

Well it has been three weeks since I first bought this kit and here is my progress as promised:

This is after 2 weeks of work.  I had to stop for a week to work on a swap project.  Tongue   I hate craft ADD.

I have been craving some crossstitching lately and I was wondering if I can get in on this. I already have a large project started (that I've been "working" on for years) and I'd like to finish it this year (maybe), hehe. Smiley
