Anyone else attempting or wanting to attempt a big project but a little worried they'll never get it done?  I propose a Big Project Stitchalong where we can post monthly or biweekly pics of our progress to help keep us motivated.

If anyone else is interested here is what I am working on:

and this is how much I have done:

Yup, it's a holiday craft.  I figure if I start early enough I actually have a chance at completing it.

I'm going to start a semi-big one for a house warming gift for a friend.  I've bookmarked it so I can post pics once I start.  I love seeing peoples progress  Cheesy

Does it count if you started the project in 2006?  I started "Ghostie's Garden" from the September 2006 issue of Cross-Stitch & Needlework and could use some encouragement on finishing it.  I'm cross-stitching  & embroidering more since I locked my finger in the car door.........

I'm fine with projects already started, this is just to encourage us to work on them by knowing we will be posting progress.

I have a project from the 90s that I might try to finish for 2008 Wink
