I had never knit a pair of socks before, but my mother practically begged me to make her some for Christmas. Most would start with a simple ribbed pattern, but I tend to make things hard on myself and have to start out as hard as I possibly can. haha. These actually weren't that bad- the needles were size 1, so they did take a while. It's all good though, my mum LOVED them so much!

-They aren't really too big- they were just bunched up on the bottom in this picture  Smiley

 -Fuzzy detail

I apologize for the mediocre pictures. My mum was too busy to let me take 'modeled' pictures, so I had to do it while she was on the phone.

 Pattern:Crooked Cable Socks
 Yarn: Essential- Grass

It is actually really soft! I was a little worried it would be stiff or something, but it was soft and not at all fuzzy. I really hate when yarn pills and fuzzes everywhere. It bothers my nose  Roll Eyes

I'm soooooo adding to these to my 'Things to Knit' list.
Lace/Cabling + Socks = Addiction.
My first pair of socks were lace, second cable, & now I can't stop!

The socks look great.  You did an exceptional job on your first pair.  I also really like the color.

 Thanks everyone Smiley
The pattern was very fun. A little time consuming, but I like how it turned out.
