I made a really simple quilt in a week or two for my friend for christmas.  it didn't come out as well as I'd hoped, but it was still cool.  that reminds me, I must take a picture of it next time I'm over there...

My gosh it's lovely!  Great colors, very interesting and dynamic pattern. Does the pattern have a name? Love the diagonal layout and the blocks at the corners of the border. Way to go! 

I'm working on my first real quilt right now -- machine pieced but hand quilted.  It's taking forever!
