The scarf is a double knit alpaca yarn on size 8 needles.. My first time double knitting.. I love the way it looks, but I didn't realize how tedious it can become so it took me awhile to actually finish. I'm really happy with it!

EDIT:
Thanks for all the compliments.. It seems as though many people are working on Stars Wars knitting of their own.. I hope you all post your projects, I would love to see them!

That is very cool.  I look forward to trying double knitting some day, but I have more basic things to learn first.

That looks so awesome Smiley I have not yet attempted double knitting, but I really like the idea to use it for a scarf. I like stockinette scarves, but they curl like crazy. Where did you learn?

Neato!  I've been wanting to do some double-knitting, but everytime I try I get a little frustrated and quit, haha.  Great job!

I kept looking up double knit tutorials online until eventually I got it right.. I'm not sure if I did the bind off correctly, but it looks ok Smiley
