I put this here, because it isn't sewn, knitted or crocheted, and it isn't really what I would call clothing...just a frivolous bit of fluff...well, lots of bits of fluff, actually...


I was inspired by this post by leaguegirl:

When I went to the craft store to buy the pom-poms (2", 1 1/2", 1", 1/2"), they had these lovely "jewel-tone" pom-poms, and I couldn't resist. They will look awesome with the new denim jacket that I haven't bought yet!!

I used dental floss (free from my dentist!) to string them together (and only stabbed myself in the thumb once!), and tried to follow 3 rules:
1) No two of the same size next to each other
2) No two of the same color next to each other
3) The largest pom-poms must be separated from each other by at least 3 other sizes.

I promptly broke rules 1 and 3- I had dumped all of the pom-poms in a bag and was pulling them out at random- and decided that it was still okay!

It's about 2 yards long, and I tried not to squish the pom-poms together, but sometimes, there are gaps because pom-poms seem to want to cuddle up close to each other!
