The pink heart muscle itself is about 8 inches tall.  With the blood vessels, it's about double that height.

This is the photo from the Knit.1 magazine (Winter 06-07 "Love issue").  My early WIP is covering some of the layout.

This WIP photo shows the actual colours better.

A quick knit, and a fun gift for the medical-type person in your life.  Grin

OMG!  This is the greatest!  I've been in love with this since I laid eyes on the pattern.  I love this issue of KNIT1 too btw.  You did a great job!  Looks just like the one in the mag!

That looks amazing!  Too fun!  My husband is a paramedic- I may have to make him one for Valentine's day.

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

I love personal swaps for small stuff (including Hershey Kisses!)! PM me for happy fun rockin' good times!

That is really cool!! I'm guessing you are gonna move onto the knitted womb next? In a few years time you could have all the body organs!!
