I made these in August for my little twinbits. Used Bernat Denimstyles for the Seija set instead of the yarn called for, so the sets coordinate nicely without being too "twinny". Also made 3 sizes of hats, so they can travel in style while they grow! Cheesy

And here they are being used when the babies were 1 week old (they're 3 months now...time flies!)

Oh, that is too cute! And I love how you made hats to grow into! What a great idea to make them in advance!

Sometimes I think baby items lack in monkey-head-decoration, but I'm happily surprised to see your afghan has some simian style!  Kudos.

Very cute (the projects and the twins).

What pattern did you use for the pom-pom hats?

Thanks, all! I'm pretty fond of the babies myself!  Wink

Very cute (the projects and the twins).

What pattern did you use for the pom-pom hats?

http://www.lovinghugsfamily.com/hatpattern.html this is the pattern for the pom-pom hats. I made about five for each baby LMBO using up all different yarns from my stash...it's a really quick and easy project so it was great while I was on bedrest. It adapts super easily for different yarn types and head sizes, too, and there's so many different ways to finish the hats off. Great pattern!
