Hello everyone.  This is my first ever sewing machine project!  I followed a tutorial that I found on someone's blog.  The skull is appliqued using steam'n'seam and I covered the buttons with the extra lining fabric using the coolest button covering kit that I found.  What do you think?

That's so cute! I would never have guessed it was your first project on a sewing machine. I really love the pink skulls and tweed combo.  Smiley

Awesome work! The stitching looks perfect (love the pink thread by the way). You've done really well with the colours too.

Beautiful!  Cheesy

Where can you get button covering kits?

Still wishing for a Tunisian crochet kit. Would be happy to personal swap for one. I have fabrics and all sorts of stuff to swap for.
