That is soo great!!  I haven't done any colorwork in crochet, but maybe once I build up my skills a little I will try something like this.

Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. To answer a few questions, it did take a while, I think when I figured it all out it was about 70-80 hours of crocheting. But the afghan is more time consuming than it was hard. I think the most difficult thing was finding old screen shots of the characters and graphing them out. It was much like graphing for a needlepoint pattern, each block represents one single crochet. However, for my quilt each block equalled two single crochet cause I wanted the blocks to be a little fatter, that's why some of the characters look a little wider then they are supposed to be.
