I finally finished these mittens for my mom for Christmas. I used yummy Koigu, and love how they turned out.  I am still having issue figuring out how to get my pictures to load onto Craftster.  (Every time I think I know what I'm doing on a computer, a new issue comes up and knocks my ego down a few pegs)  Pictures and more info are on my blog at bunchkinknits.blogspot.com.

ETA:  I figured out how to post pictures!

I flipped the colors for each mitten because I was concerned about running out of yarn,
and you can see my one oops in the second picture on the cuff.  I didn't notice it until I was bllocking them, and no way was I going to rip back!

Love the mittens! (and the design feature  Wink)  Wanted to ask, where did the pattern come from?  I have not yet done any fair isle and it looks like a good one to start with.  Plus, I have some yarn that I think would look great.  Thanks.

My husband says I should cut back.
I tell him, it's better than a really bad drug problem.

Those are great! I love the design on them.  You're mom is a lucky parent- mine got a coffee maker... Undecided Grin Smiley  Maybe I'll make these for next year.

I really like your mittens. The Koigu looks scrumptous. I'm knitting these too, using harrisville in blue and brown. I'm really enjoying the pattern.

great job!
