Well, I got my quilt.
  It's kinda nice.
 Well, actually, it's frickin' AMAZING!!!!
It's not humanly possible to come up with a color combination that I could love more, and the detail is wonderful!
I can't find my regular camera, but I wouldn't dream or making you guys wait for pictures, so here's some really crappy cell phone shots:

If I weren't exhausted, I would hunt down my camera.  I hope it's not in my car!  It's so cold out that the batteries would probably freeze and burst!  Also, if I weren't exhausted, I would go into great detail about how much I lovelovelovelovelov elove this quilt, and how it showed up right when I needed it (emotionaly), but alas.  Sleep is calling my name.

Anyone up for a Jasper Fforde swap?

Beautiful quilt, alwaysinmyroom! Knit_core, you are one lucky swapper! And kiwi...somehow I missed before what a seamstress you are! The weekend bag was fantastic, and that needle roll is the bomb. Great colors!

wow lots of great swaps!

awesome quilt!
well done always, does the quilt have a name and what is the design called. its lovely.

pinkmafia, glad u enjoyed it all. it was only a small package but i managed to squeeze in a variety of stuff. I had fun making the monkey, my little boys want one! love to see a pic of your girl cuddling him! if u get time one day.

So I am going to sit out the next iyp swap, due to busy family time here, hubby going overseas for police service work for 4mths, so we need to have this time before as a family. I am going to be studying too. So i will watch from afar and enjoy all the creativity.
its all been amazing so far.

I received today the awesomest package from the fabulous ashestoashes! She is an amazing partner as usual (it is not the first time we swap together) and it feels great to see how much care she puts in the crafts she makes.  Here are the wonderful things she sent me...

Everything together:

Felt sushi magnets!! She is great working with felt, always the stitches are perfect. I love the magnets! and they came inside a little chinese take away box made by her!

and of course mexican flair was present in the package  Cheesy Here is a Frida magnet, a beautiful embellished tin and a felt Frida doll!!! isN#t it a cutie? and she even stands alone, it is actually like a kind of mini-beanie Frida, I love it!

a set of beautiful handmade cards with envelopes!

These awesome fingerless gloves! I have been wanting some since forever (I can not knit at all), and she saw in my wists that I wanted ones and made me these warm soft gloves, they are perfect! I love them

Drum roll please to see the most perfect embroidery I have seen! She made me this beautiful pillow with Virgen de Guadalupe embroidery! The embrodery is amazing! check the gold thread details and the appliqued stars, I LOVE it!

and I wanted some american candy so she sent me these delicious chocolate bars!

Thank you again ashestoashes, you are an amazing partner!  Now I just hope you get your package soon, I am getting very worried about it

I'm trying to get caught up again.  So much amazing stuff!!!

Kate - I'm glad you like your stuff.  I tried a different pattern with the cloth pads, I hope they work well.  I'm making some for my dd soon too.  I tried to incorporate all your favorite colors in the quilt, I really like the pattern anyhow.  I felt that the little pixies on the jammie pants were just what you need in your life.
