oh my, what wonderful packages!  i'm practically brought to tears just looking at them and they weren't even for me!  Cheesy

la_chrystelle, it looks like you did an amazing job crafting to dulcinea's tastes.  someday i will try stroopwafels myself!

and rackycoo has definitely set the bar high! nyxxie is my partner, too, so i'd better get back to work on her swap package  Cheesy  i love the pet painting also -- i have a rackycoo painting of my babies and it means the world to me!

great job, ladies!!
catpants, there's a shop in Portland that sells them Wink (and a lot of other Dutch treats Tongue)

Wow, Saskia, no wonder you were nervous about that being lost...some package!

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Wow, how did I miss those packages? They're both fantastic, and so perfect for the receivers, especially your fabulous painting Racky. It's such an incredible thing to do for somebody and looks just fantastic!

The cover on the journal you received pixiefarts is way cool!!  I am in awe of journal makers--they are just so nice and personal--what are the inside pockets made of and how is it stuck on the page?

I love the binding on both this journal and the one rackycoo did--I have tons of old chopsticks--can they be used for this?

Racky I was sooo amazed by your painting!  I saw it in person today while Nyxxie and I were on our way to Art class and the picture doesn't do it justice.  I was awed by how well you portrayed the boys!  They're such good boys and love thier Mommy so much.

Here are the other items that I received from la_chrystelle today:

first, she sent me this knit magazine, and according to the letter, I'm to let her know which one i want to knit, and she can send me the pattern (hopefully in english, I missed Dutch in school)

Then, as if this lovely girl hadn't done enough for me, there was this clock.... a dragonfly clock.... it's going up on the wall right over my computer, so i can see it all the time!  If you look on the body, right below where the hands are joined in the middle, there's a celtic knot in the design.  it's AWESOME!

(sorry for the flash, the lighting here is really awful without it)

so again, la_chrystelle... thank you SO much for all of these lovelies! (and yes, you still have to send that other big thing!)

ok that was a bit weird.... I was totally not prepared to read Dutch there lol, took me a few seconds to realize I was trying to read Dutch, wondering why I wasn't getting the English (did that just make sense? lol). Dulcinea, la_chrystelle, I've never translated patterns before in my life, but if either of you need help with translating stuff, let me know and I'll do what I can Smiley
