 Cheesy Embarrassed Cheesy  Thanks y'all!!
Selise, I'm glad you like the bag.  I really challenged myself with that one! But I loved every minute of it! Both of those fabrics I found at the really cheap place back home (remember me tell y'all about that place?  The place with zipper for a nickel...) and I thought the exterior fabric would be really good for you! And then lying right next to it was the lining... it was like an omen or something. So I decided to go for it and try the weekend bag, and it I totally screwed it up, I could always just use the fabric to make a tote or something.  I've never made something that big and I've never worked with really good quality vinyl either, so two firsts for me.  It didn't turn out as stiff as I had hoped(it's really floppy), but other than that (and the fact that the straps are a bit thin) I was really please.  I'm glad you are too!!

It is perfect.  Honestly.  I love it, I love that it's floppy (means I can fill it up and put it in my trunk for weekend trips with hubby!!)  It's a gorgeous lot I got, thank you so so much again!

As you already saw, I was spoiled by the amazing talents of SewingLori. Here are some pictures of the goodies I sent her. My first love has always been paper crafts so I decided to send a package of goodies using mainly paper crafts.

Here son's room will have (has) a train theme so I made a pictures frame for him:

I also painted a caboose and two additional trains. One was red, one yellow and one blue. I found the color names in a vintage book and decoupaged them onto the train itself.

Hee kitchen is vintage red and white so I made her some magnets for her fridge.

I also made her this house hanging with her monogram on it.

Her bedroom colors are pink, blue and brown. Her dh is a bit unsure about these colors so I made a plaque for their bedroom hoping he might warm up to the color combo.

Lori also had wisted a paper pack and so I sent her a package of my favorite papers to work with.

I had a lot of fun with this swap and look forward to playing again in the next round.
thanks for looking-
hugs

that picture is soooooo pretty. I love the look of the flowers, it makes them stand out so well.

Great packages everyone. Is it possible to have a cap on your wists? Do they stop you at a certain limit when adding items. Mine is getting rediculous!

Shocked wow! I go away for only a few hours, and there's a ton of cool new stuff up! I love that bag, kiwimonkey! It looks to be the perfect weekender bag.

Dulcinea, I hope you can get batteries soon, if la_chrystelle doesn't have pictures, I want to see all your goodies!

"just keep crafting, just keep crafting"

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

I'm taking the whole bag, with all the goodies into work tomorrow, so I can make all my co-workers jealous (well, the women, anyway), and grab some batteries, take the pictures and get 'em uploaded.

I promise!
