I found a portable bar at a garage sale a few years ago. It had the original material peeled off, and was covered in those stickers from the gumball machines..... It was a mess. The inside was nice though, and it had most of its accessories. So I bought it for $2! YAY.

I finally had inspiration strike, and although it is kinda plain, I think it has the look I am going for. I am considering a front embellishment, but I am not sure.... Anyway, here it is!!::

Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.

You haven't had enough coffee until you can thread your machine while it's running!

You came in from the darkness and held the door open wide
You stood there like a vision before my unbelieving eyes
I believe in what I see and also what I hear
But did the night play tricks on me or were you really there.

I have never seen a portable bar either, but you managed to pimp yours out! It looks very suave!  I laughed at the before pictures, they're funny to me. Anyways that is soo cool. I love it!

Thanks for the comments! Smiley I always had to wonder at who could have put those stickers on there. (They must have been drunk!) I am so glad I rescued the bar from the alien Metallica fans! Smiley

Exactly what I am wondering. "What person, of legal drinking age, bought a bunch of machine stickers, and put them on their bar?"

I recently found my own portable bar and am now inspired to 'swankify' mine, too! Thanks for posting your fab results!

Wow. I had no idea what a portable bar was until now. No idea. But I love it. And swanky is the perfect discriptive word. Awesome.
