For my mp3 player.. or whatever else I could fit in I suppose.
I'm not sure how long it'll last, but I think it's fun in the meantime.

I used a drill, some 14 gauge wire from the hardware store, hot glue, and some fabric and felt to line it.

Sorry about the phone cam pics.. the battery in my camera died when I turned it on.  Tongue

What a neat idea! I may need to get a smaller iPod so I can make one of these...and then start wearing belts...

Hmmm...I bet my students would love it! And, if you could figure out a way to sneak out the headphone cord through the back, they could snake the cord up their shirts and then wear it during class and nobody would know!

Oh...wait a minute...I'm supposed to be enforcing the rules...not figuring out ways to break them... Grin

Actually, in school, I put it in my sweater pocket, make a hole in the back, and pull the cord under the sweater and listen to music and teachers never know. Well, now you know.
Oh and, that belt is so cool! What a great idea!. I wonder if it's going to last though. I had a coffin belt buckle with a flip lid, and it didnt last very long.

Thanks everybody!  Grin

I haven't worn it out in public yet, but I will be today.  I'm mostly worried about the hook that goes through the hole in the belt coming loose, it's a little wiggly.

I could have used better ways to reinforce everything, but my mp3 player (a sansa e250, close to the size of an ipod nano, but thicker) just fits in.  So there wasn't a lot of room in there.
