My first hobo bag made from this fine tute: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=125025.0 by runnermom100863

The brown fabric is a fine corduroy and the other is a fun aqua paisley print.  I hope the recipient likes it!

the back is the same as the front

And a matching lined zippered pouch:

this is beautiful!  Well done, I love the corduroy!

I just got a brand new machine for Christmas and it's sooooooo amazing I can't even begin to describe how much better a -real- machine is in comparison to my little $30 portable!  I had no idea what I was missing out on until I had a real machine to compare.  Anyway... I'll be making your swap purse with the new machine, so I'm really excited!  I think it's going to turn out so much more professional! Cheesy  *crosses fingers*  Hope you had a nice Christmas Smiley

Hello toque!  I just received your fabric for our swap in the mail yesterday (I had to search for just the right thing) and I can't wait to whip it into something!!!!  Congrats on getting a new sewing machine.  I treated myself to a new iron for Christmas.  HaHa.......I never would have thought I would be so excited to get one.  What does that say about me?

I LOVE the paisley fabric!  Where did you get it?

I ordered it off of www.equilter.com after a search for paisley.  I am going to have to order more because I am sad I didn't get enough to make a purse for ME!

Thank you everyone for all of the nice comments.  I really appreciate and respect all of your opinions!

Really fantastic job, mebsmommy!  Yay, someone made this bag!  Cheesy  And, it IS your own bag, since YOU made it!  I'm actually honored
