Wow!  Shocked  Great design!  Excellent craftswomanship, too!
What kind of felt do you use?  And how on earth do you stitch so close to the edge?!!

It is wool felt.
And the trick I use for sewing it is... removable spray glue that I usually use for my stencilling (it is excellent to stick fabrics together, it doesn't ruin them and it lasts just as long as you sew them!) and zipper foot for my sewing machine.
I couldn't live without my zipper foot  Wink

I think it would be great if you did a small tute on the applique process...I've wanted to try this for ages - my bags look so drab without that added bit of flair.

Ok, a tutorial for felt applique is coming!
In the meantime, here's the definitive version of the martini clutch that I will soon add to my online shop...


I added a martini glass pewter charm to the chain-strap.
