Myself and a couple gals from Crafters Local 612 (No Coast Craft-o-rama organizers) are hosting a retreat in Red Wing, MN the weekend of March 16 - 18. There will be several guided craft projects (taught by the lovely and talented Trish from Crafty Planet), yoga instruction (for any skill level), and lots of relaxing, meeting new friends and checking out the cute town of Red Wing.

The cost is $250 and covers the weekend stay, food, instruction, and probably some of the materials. The house is beautiful, has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (shared by up to 15 of us), a room FULL of scrap book equipment, and has an outdoor hot tub. Yay!

Here's all the details: http://www.craftyplanet.com/retreat.htm

And here's the registration form (HTM or PDF):

Just an update -- we have six spaces left -- check craftyplanet.com to put down your $50 downpayment.

As an added bonus, I just perfected my homemade granola recipe, which we will be enjoying at our retreat breakfasts (along with a lot of other goodies)! Yum!!

Hey ya'll,
We have 2 - 4 spots left, depending on how many of us want to smoosh in. Sign up soon, before they're all gone! We'll have at least 6 sewing machines and a huge stash of fabric available, so don't worry if you don't have your own equipment!!

Just want to throw out a plug for my town of Red Wing! It is a pretty cute town if I do say so. Wink

While you're in Red Wing, check out the Creative State store. The owner is a seamstress who does custom work, but the front of the store is all kinds of art and crafts from local artisans. Lots of really great stuff. Smiley There are quite a few neat stores in the downtown area.
