I'm a printmaking student and took an Artist's Books class this year where I learned the bookmaking stuff.  I'd love to do some more technical learning though -- the class was geared more towards ideas and ways of expression than to technique.

The paper on the last two books is Japanese chiyogami paper -- it's available in several art shops here in Australia in big sheets.  It costs a pretty penny, but it's worth every cent...

Ohh, so nice.  They all have this nice, clean professional look.  I love the binding you did on the next-to-last one.  The designs on the first few are simple, yet very lovely.  I like how the 2nd looks sort of Asian-y, even though that might not have been your intention.

You've inspired me to get goin' on learning how to sew bind.  I'm great with the glue and adhesive, I just need to work thread into my repertoire
