Here is a pair of slipper socks I finished over the weekend.  They are for my mom, hence the incredibly small size.  I made them from some medium worsted weight that I had lying around.  The cuffs are ribbed.

She wears a size 6, so I shortened the length just a bit.

The ribbing is done by wrapping the pegs three times and pulling the bottom thread over the top two.  It makes a thicker, tighter stitch that resembles ribbing.

wait, so instead of doing a hat brim like the instructions said, you just did ribbing

That's all I did, and since I used two strands of worsted weight, I think it holds its shape better vs. stretching out of wack.

yea, I did ribbing too and not the brim. I liked the way it looked.

I wanna do  some  but  got  some WIPs to  finish first.  my  question is around the  toe  area  is it  bulky  like  withthe  hats  when  cinched?Huh   not  sure I would  like that... should I  not  waste my time???   or  am I missing  something?

There is some bulk, but since it is made on the smallest loom, there is less than for the hat.  I don't find it annoying.  I would guess the softer yarn you use, the more pleasant it will be.
