Feel free to browse through the participants and add their links to your own page and, if you choose, PM them to see if they'd like to reciprocate. (They do have the right to say "no, thank you"!)

Rules of Participation:

• No Etsys, eCraters, or other websites that are pre-formatted in such a way as to make link exchange difficult or impossible will be allowed
• You must link to Craftster.org
• You must link to at least one other approved participant

I've been working on a website to showcase wonderful craft sites and make them easier to find. Got the idea from my own disorganized bookmark list. Not entirely a new idea, but my site has a twist - the tips.

My site Crafty Tips Arts & Crafts Directory ((Approved!!)) allows crafty website owners to advertise pages of their site in exchange for a crafty tip. Each website may submit 3 different pages and tips as long as they fit in 3 different categories/subcategories.

Think yellow pages, without the crazy prices. There are a few paid advertising options and reciprocal links, while not required, are greatly appreciated.

The site is new and I am desperately looking for crafters to help me share their sites with others. I have been getting quite a few visitors, but they usually leave when they see the empty categories.

I am looking for sites that have at least 3 finished pages. Those of you with Etsy shops are also welcome to participate.

Since I will be listing sites in the order which they were submitted, those willing to participate in the early days of the site will get the first listings in their category or sub-category. With most sites like mine, the first page of a category or subcategory are usually awarded a higher Google pagerank and sites listed on them receive more traffic.

PS. I am getting a quite a bit of traffic to Handbags, Purses and Duffles category; but folks are leaving the site when they find the category empty. Sites that sell these items, components or provide free or for sale patterns are likely to get several hits a day and are highly encouraged to take a look around the site and submit a link. Same goes for the Quilting, Rubber Stamping and Beadwork & Lapidary categories.

Please remember, sites MUST share a crafty tip to be listed.

Right now, it re-directs to my shop on Etsy as I work on refining the website, but please use that in links instead of the Etsy link...if you want to link to me or do, Please send me a PM with your site so I can reciprocate.  For now, I have affiliates listed on my LJ for Flutterby Design at http://community.livejournal.com/flutterbydesign (affiliates are on the profile page: http://community.livejournal.com/flutterbydesign/profile), and then they will be moved to an appropriate affiliate page on flutterby once I get the regular site up.
