Those are two shawls I made.
This is just a part of red cotton shawl with fillet lace design. I always wanted to tray fillet crocheting and I'm glad I did but i must admit that it was a bit boring to do just double crochet and chain Grin i Think that those who start crocheting should try it because it is not complicated.

And this is free style crochet shawl. i made a "body" with one skin of acrylic yarn and then added leafs with scraps of deferent yarns.

i think they're great!!

i would LOVE to know how you did the second one. what pattern did you follow? did you write down what you "free-styled"? that would be a great gift for my dm.
