So, I was inspired by this capelet found here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=62184.0, but added the puffy sleeves and made it longer with the baby doll shape.
At the moment, I'm really into those two things  Grin
Now that I'm done and I keep looking at it, I'm not crazy about the body. I think I may change it to a more form fitting bodice.  Any suggestions?

Sorry for the awful picture, there was this ugly picture on the other side that I didn't want to get in the picture and the lighting was terrible Cheesy

Love it. Great idea. But I would of left it flared on the bottom. But that is me.

Thanks, Jodi.  That was what I originally wanted to do, but then I think I became delirious from knitting all day.  I knew I was going to regret not leaving it flared that minute I started decreasing, yet could not stop myself.  I think I was in a knitting trance, didn't even hear all the ruckus with the family watching football all day :-)

I really like it!!!  The shaping reminds me of something I saw at Urban Outfitters.  Could you perhaps belt it with a ribbon?

I think the ribbon idea would work if you didn't want to frog it, but I think leaving it flared would have been the best option.

And don't feel bad about the knitting trance. I have those aaaalll the time. lol. Sadly, I'm used to frogging.  Roll Eyes

I like to do personal swaps now and again.

I knit, crochet, and make stitch markers.

Just pm me if you wanna swap. Smiley
