I know that KnitWitz has spinning classes with drop spindles. Kate, the teacher, can teach wheel spinning too, though you'd probably have to set up a special lesson. Kathe, the lady who owns KnitWitz, is going to start carrying majacraft wheels. I know Rebecca is a more a knitter than spinner, but a FABULOUS teacher (I worked at Stitch in Time for two years, and I learned SO much from her!!!). I would imagine that she could teach spinning quite well, though. At one time, Kate was talking about setting up a spinning grup here in town. I dunno if it ever got off the ground, though.
