this was the gift i made for my mom this year for christmas. she collects nativity sets and really loves the story of the three wisemen, so i thought this pattern was appropriate. now that she has it, i can post it. i quilted most of it on a longarm machine, but it doesn't do metallic thread well, so their robes and things were done on my regular machine. it is also embellished with swarowski crystals that really sparkle beautifully in person. i wish the pictures would show that better, but oh well. it's also pretty small, only about 21" x 54". enjoy!

I think this is spectacular!  Your mum is one lucky lady.  Ack I can't get over all the work and detail in this piece.  It must have been a challenge giving it away!!!
