I made a tree which I put on a frame that I loved for one of my moms clients for christmas and wasnt able to get pics, so I made another one. This is a christmas present for my oma.

The tree without leaves (don't mind the ends!)

With leaves

(I didnt put anything for scale, but the leaves range from the size of a dime to a quarter)

And the frame:

I was going to add some flowers to the opposite corner, but decided not to (mostly because of time)

I loved it without the leaves, and then I looked down...and it was even better!

I love it! I thought you were going to put it in the frame, not on it, it's a work of art.

That's gorgeous!....and I can get a pretty good idea of the size of the tree from your thumb sneaking in the picture...unless you have an abnormally large (or small) thumb.... Wink

I'm really liking that tree!  I can see a few trees linked together to make a scarf even.  Awesome freeform!

Wow! I love it! And, thanks for showing the tree "naked!" Now I can see how you made it!

And, I definitely agree that it would be cool to make one for each season, and then applique them onto a pice of cool fabric, and then put them in a frame, and then...hang your beautiful artwork on the wall! I also love the scarf idea that MoxZ mentioned (freeform treeform!)...

I may be making one or two (or more) in the near future...like tomorrow!

I'm voting for trees for the seasons, one in each frame - would be an awesome set!

Beautiful tree, Vanilla!

Thanks, kids! Cheesy My Oma loved it, even though she gushed a little too excessively over the silly something-or-other my sister bought her and the frame was just set aside. Thats okay, though. I got loads of compliments on it Grin

It would also look good embellishing the bottom of a sweater.  How pretty!
