Awesome scarf!  Awesome color changing!  Did you make up the pattern yourself?

Isn't it great when your teenager requests something and then actually likes it?  Happens so rarely (insert wistful sigh here). . .

You just made me laugh!  My daughter LOVEs to request that I make her things and then she might throw it back at me  Shocked  or she has learned to hide it in her room and I never see it again.  I have frogged a couple things that I made for her because I refused to waste good yarn!  I've been on a roll lately because she LOVES what I have made for her!  Yippee!

And yes, the rattler is my own design.  No pattern, well I did use graph paper to lay out the diamond shapes for size.  Other than a page of graph paper, I made it up as I went along!    This was a first for me, to use more than 1 color of yarn! Whew!

Thanks for the kind words and compliments!

Crocheting is like prostitution.  First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and then for money.  Maybe that is why they call us Hookers?

Great scarf!  I really like the beads on the tail.  I hope your daughter wears it with pride her entire high school days!

Yes, it is crocheted in the round and round and round!  I was very happy to get to the tail!  I crocheted in the round so I didn't have to be careful hiding the colors/strings that I wasn't using at the time.  The inside isn't pretty! but it is on the INSIDE and no one will see it!

Hi!

I LOVE your rattlesnake scarf. It rocks! For the inside of the snake's mouth did you crochet a circle or an oval?

The inside of the mouth is more like an oval.  I first made the forked tongue and tied that in the center of the oval and then in black, single crocheted around the rose colored mouth to the black mouth/head.

Thanks for the compliments!
