Just what I always wanted for Christmas.... a pinstriped dress with a full skirt and sexy top.  Smiley  And it only took me 2 months to finish it lol  It's a Retro Butterick '52 pattern (B4919) in the shorter length.  I'm wearing it with a petticoat in the pictures.  Oh... and please excuse the general weirdness of the pictures.  Couldn't get a good one to save my life!

OOOOHHHHH!!! It looks beautiful on you! And I like the sparkly sweater too! I've been coveting this pattern since it came out. It's nice to see how it looks on a gal w/ curves.  Cheesy
I love your Marilyn Monroe photo montage too!

Awww thank you!  I had to scramble around to get a cardigan (the sparkles were a definite bonus!) because I live in Wisconsin.  Cold.  Snow.  Fun stuff, actually lol

Oh!  My mom and I put up the Marilyn montage on that wall when I moved into this apartment... it's now become my vintage area with my 40s record player I'm standing in front of and my 50s fridge lol

i swear.... if you lived in green bay... i'd have such a plan.  i discovered this ancient little gem of a fabric store that is closing end of jan.  i swear to god, she has bolts of vintage fabric that make me wanna squeal.  its 50's housewife heaven.  and even at the 60's prices of 2.48 and what not.  just wish i had some retro girls in town to throw down a collection and buy out her stock. Smiley
