Today I saw a girl with this purses it was really awesome. It almost looked like a wacked out old sweater material kind of thing. I don't have a picture, and I can't really discribe it well. But if anyone  has any idea what I'm talking about, I really want to make one. So I was wondering if anyone maybe had directions/tutorial at all? It would help alot thanks!

i made a purse from an old sweater once - it was a silk and wool blend. i just washed and dryed it a bazillion times til the fabric was nice and tight, then i cut my pieces and stitiched them together with some wool thread. i used a blanket stitch on the outside so it was nice and pretty. i put a piece of stiff board in the bottom to help it keep it's shape and a pice of plastic inside the handle. then i made a huge felt flower for the front. i didn't really use a pattern. the great thing about fleted wool is you can just basically decide what shape and size you want  your purse to be and then cut it out. no seam allowances needed! i'm sure i have a pic somewhere and if i can find it i will post it.
