I would have thought there would be more interest in this one!!

Me too actually.
Hmm, it could be that everyone's crafted so many christmas gifts, that people are less interested in crafting for others just after christmas.
Maybe the spirit of giving is a little weak atm  Undecided

Im in! How many items are for this swap?

I am leaving that up for people to discuss with their partner - since there is a pertinent question in the questionnaire, I will try to pair swappers in part by how much they would like to send.

For everyone who has pm'd today, I will be updating you all when I get home from work in a few hours.

The thread in the "new swap ideas" section seemed to get several positive responses relatively quickly, so I am hoping that more people will sign up when we move away from the holidays. I can also extend signups/crafting time if there are widespread scheduling issues.

Oh, and we now have a medly of locations - I would like to encourage more swappers from the Australia/NZ region to sign on, so you can all be grouped together and reduce shipping expense/issues!

I'm very interested, but I need to get a few things sorted that I'm already committed to, and money is a little tight this side of Christmas  Undecided
BTW, my tattoo incorporates a lotus design!  Wink

I will definitely sign up if you can extend the dates. I've already signed up for two swaps, you see, and I am committed to sign up for a Sarah swap if that ever happens, and I don't want to overextend myself. But I would love to craft lotus stuff!

Would extending both the sign up and the sendout help, or is there one or the other that is more important? How much of an extension would help? Does anyone who has already signed up have any objections to extending the signup or crafting periods (you can always ship early)?

I could extend the signups to maybe the 14th (Sunday); there is a chance that I might be away from the internet for a bit in mid-Feb, so I could extend the sendout by a bigger jump, maybe the 20th? There are quite a few swaps up now that have sendouts the first or second week of February, so that would give a bit of  leeway if you need more time, and still allow for early shipping for those who want to have a faster swap turnover.
